Hey Buddy!

Finally, I have found a moment where the house is clean, dogs are calm (well, relatively anyways), laundry - well, that can just wait - to update my blog! I think it really has been almost a year? Not quite, but it feels like it. Since then, I've thrown myself into the Duval like its nobody's business, have avoided housekeeping and cooking for almost 6 months, lost 7 pounds, gained 7 pounds, Kyre is finishing his Masters in Finance this semester and has been accepted to FSU's PhD program in the Fall!

We have also taken in another four legged friend, Buddy, who my mother rescued from certain death (a whole other story) just after my last post in fact, last summer. The fact that she took those ragged little guys in was a miracle in itself, let alone the fact that they are now, beautiful and healthy boys! Mom decided to keep Sam, and we are fostering Buddy until he can find his "forever family." :)

And so I dedicate this blog to him, because he has been looking for his family for months now, and they just haven't found him yet. I wish we could keep him though, he's such a sweet boy and I've grown quite attached to him, but we're poor, and as much as I work and Kyre dedicates his time to school I barely have enough time to walk them. And poor Magnum. Sharing the attention is not his forte! Not to mention we can only technically have one dog in our new place - did I mention we moved...again? I seriously am obsessed with this place!

I hate when I have to take Buddy to Petsmart (we're fostering him with Big Dog for now) and he gets so nervous, people think he's a drooly uncooperative beast. But I bet you would be too if you got put in a crate for people to come poke you, pet you, talk sweet to you, shove biscuits at you, have every random dog bark at you, and then no one wants to take you home. Or they say they do but then never call.

Either way, Buddy is here, waiting to find his forever family. Pass the word along, would you?
